Oliver Väärtnõu is the CEO of Cybernetica since 2014, having previously joined the company as the head of the Information Security Systems Department. He has worked as the Strategy Director for the Estonian Government Office in the administration of Prime Minister Mr. Andrus Ansip and as the CEO of the ELIKO Technology Competence Center for Electronics and ICT. He has also served as the Deputy Head of Foreign Relations in the Global Trust Council in Sweden and worked as a management consultant for GTC Technologies AB in Denmark. Over the years, Oliver Väärtnõu has been a member of several national and international working groups. Most notably he served two terms in the Estonian National Research and Development Council under the Prime Minister of Estonia. He is currently the vice Chairman of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Enterprise Estonia. Oliver received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tartu, Estonia and defended his Master's degree at the University of Sussex, England.
