Dr. Maimoonah K. Al Khalil is the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2023. She was the Director of the National Observatory for Women at King Saud University and Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University from 2018 to 2022. She was an Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at King Saud University from 2011 to 2023. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University.
