Abdulrahman S. Al-Fageeh

Prior to his current posting as acting CEO, Mr. Al-Fageeh was Executive Vice President, Petrochemicals Strategic Business Unit.

A Chemical Engineer and a Bradford University postgraduate in business administration, Al-Fageeh has over 35 years of experience in the chemicals and petrochemicals industry, including more than 10 years as an Executive Vice President in various strategic business units within SABIC. Besides strong technical and managerial proficiencies, he is distinguished for his deep insights into international business, risk management, and operations management.

Mr. Al-Fageeh is also the Chairman of SABIC manufacturing affiliates, Yanpet, Kemya, and Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, and a Member of the Supervisory Board, SABIC Capital B.V.  A strong advocate of sustainability, circular economy and green energy, he also held the prestigious post of Chairman, World Plastics Council, an organization that promotes the responsible use of plastics.
