Norman Sadeh is a Professor in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where he co-directs the Privacy Engineering Program. His expertise spans AI, cybersecurity and privacy with a current focus on privacy and security assistants. He was founding CEO, chairman and chief scientist of Wombat Security Technologies, a company that pioneered the multi-billion dollar segment of the cybersecurity market focused on the human element. Earlier, he served as chief scientist of the EU's €550M initiative in e-Commerce and e-Work, coordinating pan-European research in cybersecurity, privacy and e-commerce and contributing to key EU policy initiatives in these areas.
