تُعقد القمة العالمية لحماية الطفل في الفضاء السيبراني ضمن جدول أعمال المنتدى الدولي للأمن السيبراني المنعقد في العاصمة الرياض تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود -حفظه الله- خلال الفترة بين يومي 2 و 3 أكتوبر من العام 2024م، وذلك بالتعاون مع وكالة الأمم المتحدة المتخصصة في تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات، ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسيف)، ومعهد “DQ”، والتحالف العالمي "WeProtect".
وتهدف القمة إلى إرساء أُسس التعاون الدولي من أجل بناء فضاء سيبراني آمن ومُمكِّن للأطفال في جميع أنحاء العالم، وذلك بمشاركة نُخبة من صنّاع القرار الدوليين، وممثلي الحكومات، والمنظمات الدولية، والقطاع الخاص، وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين.
تهدف القمة إلى:
- تعظيم العمل الجماعي وتوحيد الجهود الدولية
- تعزيز الاستجابة العالمية للتحديات التي تواجه الأطفال في الفضاء السيبراني.
- الحد من التهديدات الناشئة التي تواجه الأطفال في الفضاء السيبراني.
- التأكيد على أهمية حماية الطفل في الفضاء السيبراني لدى صناع القرار على المستوى العالمي.

DQ Institute Brief: Digital Intelligence for All

The DQ Institute (DQI) has been a global pioneer in child online safety and digital citizenship education for the past two decades. Digital Intelligence (DQ) has become the global standard for digital literacy, digital skills, and digital readiness, as standardized by the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE 3527.1™). It has been endorsed by the OECD and the World Economic Forum, and is used and referenced in over 100 countries. This session will discuss key takeaways from DQI’s previous experiences in child online safety and introduce a strategy to empower children, parents, and engineers with different aspects of digital intelligence to enhance child online safety globally.
