Mr. Ahmed Al-Malki is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of SABIC’s Cybersecurity, where he leads the global strategy, governance, and assurance of cybersecurity. In this role, he ensures the protection of SABIC’s digital assets and critical infrastructure, while enabling secure digital transformation and compliance with international, national, and industry-specific regulations.

Through his leadership, Al-Malki drives resilience against evolving cyber threats, fosters collaboration with regulators and joint ventures, and aligns cybersecurity priorities with SABIC’s strategic growth objectives. He is recognized for his strong leadership and pivotal role in advancing enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and digital resilience.

Prior to this position, he served as Acting Vice President of Information Technology and Director of Global Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), in addition to several leadership roles. 

Al-Malki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University, an MBA from OUM (2007–2009), and a Global Executive MBA from TRIUM (2018–2020), one of the world’s leading executive education programs.
