David Hoffman is the Steed Family Professor of Cybersecurity Policy at Duke University. He teaches and leads research in cybersecurity, privacy, AI and digital transformation. Prior to his academic career he worked at Intel Corporation for twenty-three years in a variety roles including head of the European legal department, Global Privacy Officer, Senior Director of Cybersecurity and AI Policy and Senior Director of Southeast Asia Public Policy. He chairs the board for the Center for Cybersecurity Policy and Law. He also serves on the Strategic Advisory Group of the Paladin Capital Group. He is a graduate of Hamilton College and Duke University Law School.
