Mustafa Ünal Erten currently serves as the Chief of the UNODC Regional Center for Combating Cybercrime and the Head of the Programme Office in Qatar. With over two decades of experience, he has worked extensively in strategic planning, partnership building, and managing development programs in law enforcement, criminal justice, and security sector reform. Before his current role, Mr. Erten was the Head of the UNODC Programme Office in Tajikistan and served as a Project Manager at INTERPOL’s Global Center for Innovation in Singapore. His career includes significant contributions to training and capacity-building programs for criminal justice personnel across various regions, including Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Gulf
