Defending the Grid: Uniting Forces to Protect Critical Infrastructure

Between January 2023 and January 2024, critical infrastructure worldwide sustained more than 420 million cyberattacks – an average of 13 attacks per second. Energy grids, healthcare systems, and financial institutions were among the most frequently targeted.

This session will examine how governments, technology leaders, and infrastructure operators can strengthen cooperation to protect critical infrastructure, particularly in times of conflict. Drawing on perspectives from national authorities and global security providers, discussion will focus on advancing shared intelligence frameworks, scaling coordinated response mechanisms, and fostering cross-border collaboration that aligns policy, technology innovation, and operational resilience.
